This was one of my favorites last year at SIFF. It's a blast of a roller coaster ride. Just roll with it and you'll have a good time.

I went into this with no expectations, not being a big fan of modern horror, and was blown away. A really simple premise and a really small film but executed in a perfect way. They pulled off all the technical tricks possible in the genre - and invented a few new ones - while still retaining a sense of realism. It felt like a great adaptation of a /nosleep creepypasta. Really looking forward to seeing where Brice goes from here.

As proven by Resolution low-budget horror done well can be pretty downright terrifying - really looking forward to this.

Oh God, My Life is total misery porn and it worked on me when I was younger.

This concept was also in the movie Things to Do In Denver When You're Dead, which was a fun post-Tarantino movie. Andy Garcia runs a little studio that specializes in making these videos for the terminally ill.

The jump scares in this often do double-duty as the scariest and funniest moments in the film.

I caught this at Chicago International Film Festival and had a blast. Duplass is lowkey one of the best voices in black comedy.

The metacritic listing of this review said Sept 1, 2015 which actually did, just for a fleeting moment, make me think that Scott had just written this and that by some miracle the site was up and running again. But of course it wasn't. :'(
